Hello, beautiful!
I’m so honored that you’re here to get to know a little piece about who I am.
Many people know me in many different ways and by many different names.
To my beautiful scholars in my classroom, I’m Miss Eze.
To my amazing friends, I’m Jenn.
To my Nigerian family, I’m Jenny, Jek, or my Nigerian name, Kosolo.
But to the world, and now to you, I am
Jennifer K. Eze.

I was never good at writing about myself, despite a book I’ve recently written using pieces of my life. Ha. When people ask me about myself I’m always stuck on what to say. “Uh… I’m the oldest of five siblings and grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas …I like cheese fries with melted shredded cheese and not queso… My favorite kind of laughs are the ones where no sound comes out, my eyes are watering, and my abs are clenched… my favorite color is gold glitter, and yes, gold glitter is a real color.”

One thing I am certain of about myself is that I believe God blessed me the gift of writing when I was little so that I would always have a way to transcribe into words who I am evolving to be. Writing has given me a way to turn the tangled mess in my thoughts into a steady flow of ink on a page; I’m so fortunate to have you - yes, YOU - be a witness to the story of my life that is constantly be written every single day. And with my story, with my words, poems, syllables, and soliloquies, my mission is to share God’s love and light with the world… the same love and light that saved a girl like me.

I am an enigma. I am the creative writing that is continuous and never-ceasing. I am the print lettering that stands bold and final, making her mark - full stop. Periodically, I find my writing in periods of vertigo, my hills and valleys sculpt the pattern of my words. But like a comma in an elongated sentence, my journey carries on after pausing to breathe.
My story is infinite.
My story is ever evolving. Like a semi-colon, my story has more to say and will not end;
